Prospective Students:
The NanoDynamics Systems Lab (NDSL) has
lead to fundamental and significant breakthroughs in
nano-interrogation and systems research. It is at the
forefront of research that integrates the basic sciences
areas of physics and biology with that of the systems
area.
Systems areas have been the mainstay of
Engineering departments and thus NDSL offers a unique
opportunity to engineering students to contribute to
nanosciences, scientific
instrumentation and fundamental systems research.
NDSL is equipped with the state-of-the
art equipment, like Atomic Force Microscopes (AFMs) and
Optical Tweezers, geared towards investigation of matter
and processes at the small scale. NDSL has active
collaborative efforts with leading research labs and
nanotech industry. Students that have graduated from
NDSL are positioned in world renowned labs and are
presently leading cutting edge research.
We at NDSL encourage you to explore the
webpage of the lab to obtain more information.
There are
currently two PhD. positions open at NDSL.
Interested students from related engineering
departments, like ECE, ME and AeroE, can email to
